Super Field Trip Origin Story
Originally connecting through similar life experiences including the loss of parents, Josh and Travis learned about the importance of fatherhood and being present to the kids around them by reflecting on the roles their fathers played.
Josh and Travis were lucky enough to have dads who cared not just about us but were father figures to neighbors, friends, and the athletes they coached.
Naming Story
Josh was returning from a long day in Joshua Tree with his family when he noticed a billboard with the words “field trip”.
In that same moment his daughter Lennon asked why they had to go back while their friends got to camp and he said “well today was more like a field trip. Did you have fun?
“It was super” she replied.
Just like that, Super Field Trip was born.
